Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- oil
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- shredded carrots - 2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1/2 3/4
- pecans, chopped - 2 c
- crushed pineapple, drained - 8 oz
- Mix dry ingredients
How to make carrot cake:
Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix dry ingredients. Blend in egg. Mix pineapple and pecans. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese, softened1/2 c. butter, softened1 tsp. vanilla1/2 to 3/4 of 1 lb. box powdered sugar Blend ingredients together.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
