  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 2 Tbsp
  • grated carrots - 2 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • raisins - 1 c
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • walnut meats - 1 c
  • cooking oil or butter - 2 Tbsp

How to make carrot cake:

Mix and boil first eight ingredients. Boil slowly for 5 minutes. Add flour, soda, salt and walnuts. Bake in slow oven (300°) for at least 1 1/4 hours.
