Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- molasses - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 4 6
How to make caramel popcorn:
Dissolve sugar, molasses, water, butter and vinegar in saucepan. Boil until it cracks in cold water. Remove from heat; add soda and stir quickly. Pour over popcorn. Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Cool. Makes 4 to 6 quarts.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
