  • sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • molasses - 1/2 c
  • popped corn - 4 6

How to make caramel popcorn:

Dissolve sugar, molasses, water, butter and vinegar in saucepan. Boil until it cracks in cold water. Remove from heat; add soda and stir quickly. Pour over popcorn. Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Cool. Makes 4 to 6 quarts.
