Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- popped popcorn - 6 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Combine brown sugar, salt, syrup and butter in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring. Add baking soda and pour over popped corn. Spread on buttered cookie sheet and bake one hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool on waxed paper.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
