  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • butter - 3/4 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • popped corn - 4 qt
  • white syrup - 1/2 c

How to make caramel corn:

Combine all ingredients but the soda and popcorn; boil 5 minutes. Mix in the soda and pour mixture over popcorn that is on a cookie sheet. Bake for 1 hour at 250°. Stir occasionally.
