Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- popped corn - 7 qt
- white syrup - 1/2 c
- dark syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Mix sugar, butter sand syrups in a saucepan. Cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Put popped corn in large pan. Pour mixture over corn and mix real well. Bake in 200° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Add nuts, if desired.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
