Baked caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 8 qt
- corn syrup white - 1/2 c
How to make baked caramel corn:
Melt butter. Stir in sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil, without stirring, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda. Put corn in big pan and pour mixture over corn. Bake in oven at 250° for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
