Ingredients/Components
- popped corn - 7 qt
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- brown sugar - 2 c
- white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make caramel corn:
Put popped corn in large buttered roaster. Boil margarine, sugar and syrup for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add soda, salt and vanilla. It will foam. Pour over corn. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring it every 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
