Potato cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- water - 2 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- shredded carrot - 1/4 c
- cubed raw potatoes - 7 c
- chicken bouillon grains - 1 Tbsp
- cubed Kraft American cheese If you use Velveeta, use less
How to make potato cheese soup:
Boil the first 6 ingredients over low heat for 10 minutes. Add potatoes. When potatoes are well cooked, add cheese. When cheese is melted, add milk. Do not boil after milk is added. If you want it thinner, add more milk. If you want it thicker, use instant mashed potato flakes, not flour.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Main dish.
