Sausage pie
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- shortening - 3/4 c
- onion powder - 1/2 tsp
- diced onion optional - 1 item
- cooked diced potatoes - 1 can
- can beef gravy - 1 item
- loose sausage - 1 lb
- water use more if needed - 1/4 c
How to make sausage pie:
Brown sausage; add potatoes, gravy and onion and set aside.Crust: Mix rest of ingredients and roll out 2 crusts to fit 9-inch pie pan. Pour sausage mixture into bottom crust. Cover with top crust and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
