Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- popped corn - 8 qt
- light Karo syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Place first 4 ingredients in 2-quart pan. Bring to boil. Stir constantly for 5 minutes. Do not over cook. Remove from heat. Add vanilla; stir. Add soda; stir. Pour over popcorn and mix until all kernels are covered. Spread on cookie sheets. Bake at 250° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
