Baked caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
How to make baked caramel corn:
Melt butter in 2-quart pan. Stir in sugar, syrup, and salt. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Then boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla. Slowly pour over popped corn. Mix well.Put in two large baking pans. Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Cool and break apart. Store in tightly covered container.
