Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • slices bread, cubed - 6 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 8 item
  • lean pork sausage - 1 lb

How to make breakfast souffle:

Fry sausage until crumbly and then drain it. Combine all ingredients and put in a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Serves 8 to 10. Ham or bacon can be used instead of sausage.
