Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 2 tsp
  • dried onion flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • grated Cheddar cheese
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • bulk pork sausage, crumbled
  • or 10 eggs, slightly beaten - 9 item
  • milk I use nonfat skim milk - 3 c
  • slices white bread, cut into 1/4-inch cubes - 3 item
  • dried green pepper flakes or dried vegetable flakes if green pepper flakes are unavailable - 1 Tbsp
  • a sprinkle of garlic powder - 1 item
  • a sprinkle of cayenne pepper - 1 item

How to make breakfast souffle:

Note: This recipe is good for taking to covered dish brunch. Reduce cooking time to 45 minutes and when done, remove from oven and cover with foil and then wrap in several thicknesses of newspaper and it will stay warm for an hour.
