Beer baked beans
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 c
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- Dijon-style mustard - 1 2
- can black beans, drained - 1 to
- can pinto beans, drained - 1 to
- spicy bulk sausage - 1 lb
- can white beans, drained - 1 to
- jar Randall Great Northern beans - 1 oz
- bottled smoky flavor barbecue sauce - 1/2 c
- beer depending on how moist you prefer your beans - 8 12
How to make beer baked beans:
Brown sausage, breaking up, and saute onion in the same pan. Drain and crumble into large bowl. Add all the beans, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, mustard and beer. Pour into bean pot or casserole dish and bake, uncovered, at 300° for 4 to 5 hours, checking for moisture content by 3 1/2 hours.
