Herbed tomatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- salad oil - 2/3 c
- freshly ground pepper - 1/4 tsp
- tarragon vinegar - 1/4 c
- ripe tomatoes, peeled and sliced - 6 item
- chives, snipped - 1/4 c
- dried thyme or marjoram, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- finely shipped parsley - 1/4 c
How to make herbed tomatoes:
Place tomatoes in bowl; sprinkle with seasonings and herbs. Combine oil and vinegar and pour over tomatoes. Cover and chill for 3 hours, spooning dressing over tomatoes several times. Drain off dressing if you like.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Tomato.
