Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- catsup - 1 c
- lemon - 1 item
- dashes of Tabasco sauce - 2 item
- large onion - 1 item
- ribs, cut into pieces - 3 4
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Place ribs in shallow roasting pan, meaty side up. On each piece, place a slice of unpeeled lemon, a thin slice of onion. Roast in hot oven (450°) for 30 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients; bring to boiling and pour over ribs. Continue baking in moderate oven (350° ) until tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Baste ribs with the sauce every 15 minutes.
