- sugar
- salt
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- onion salt - 1 tsp
- barbecue sauce - 1 c
- celery salt - 2 tsp
- brisket - 4 5
- Russian red dressing - 1 c
How to make barbecued brisket:
Sauce:1/2 c. sugar1 c. barbecue sauce1 c. Russian red dressing Make sauce; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients; rub into meat on both sides. Bake in pan or wrap in foil and bake at 225° for 8 hours. Pour off part of liquid and cool. Slice thin; put back into the pan. Add sauce and bake at 300° to 325° for 1 hour.This recipe freezes well and can be made in advance.
