Ingredients/Components
- brisket - 6 lb
- liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion salt and celery salt - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
- Barbecue Sauce - 1 item
- Allow to stand overnight covered with foil
- salt - 1 tsp
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 2 c
- onion, chopped can use dry minced - 1 item
- vinegar - 1/4 c
How to make barbecued brisket:
Sprinkle brisket with liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion salt and celery salt. Allow to stand overnight covered with foil. Next morning, sprinkle with pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and bake 5 hours at 275°. Drain grease off then. Uncover and bake 1 hour with Barbecue Sauce.Barbecue Sauce:1 c. catsup1 tsp. salt1 tsp. celery seed1/4 c. brown sugar1/4 c.
