Barbecue spareribs



  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • soy sauce - 1 item
  • bottle catsup - 1 item
  • spareribs - 3 4
  • bottle chili sauce - 1 item
  • cooking wine - 2 Tbsp
  • smoked salt - 1 item
  • Worcestershire or soy sauce - 2 Tbsp

How to make barbecue spareribs:

Cut ribs in pieces desired; season with salt and pepper. Brown on all sides. Sprinkle smoked salt. Add 1 cup water, cover and steam in oven at 350° for 1 hour.

Prepare sauce. Mix catsup, chili sauce, Worcestershire and cooking wine. Simmer a few minutes. Pour sauce over ribs and steam uncovered 1/2 hour in 350° oven, then sprinkle with soy sauce, smoked salt and brown sugar. Continue steaming until ribs are done.
