• honey - 2 Tbsp
• chopped figs - 2 c

• 1 Samuel 30:12 - 2 c

• 1 Samuel 14:25 - 2 Tbsp
• Nahum 3:12 - 2 c
• Jeremiah 17:11 - 6 item
• Amos 4:5 - 2 tsp
• Numbers 17:8 - 2 c
• pinch of Leviticus 2:13
• Chronicles 9:9 to taste - 2 item
• Judges 5:25, last clause - 1/2 c
• Judges 4:19, last clause - 1/2 c
• Beat the 6 Jeremiah yolks and add

How to make scripture cake:

Whip the Judges 5:25, Jeremiah 6:20 and 1 Samuel 14:25 until light. Beat the 6 Jeremiah yolks and add. Add Kings, Amos, Chronicles and Leviticus alternately with Judges 4:19. Fold in Nahum, Numbers and Samuel 30:12, then also the 6 Jeremiah whites, beaten stiff. Beat egg yolks until light and add. Add sifted mixture of flour, baking powder, spices and salt in alternate portions with milk. Stir in figs, raisins and almonds. Fold in egg whites. Bake in well-greased 10-inch tube pan (line it with greased brown paper for extra protection in the oven) for 2 hours at 300°.
