Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- yogurt - 1/3 c
- medium ripe bananas, peeled and chopped - 3 item
How to make banana bread:
Cream butter; add sugar, blending thoroughly. Add bananas and process until thoroughly mashed and blended. Beat in egg and yogurt. Mix the remaining ingredients together thoroughly and then add the wet mixture to them, stirring to mix until all the flour is moistened.Turn batter into a buttered 9-inch loaf pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Let rest in pan 10 minutes before turning out; cool on wire rack.
