Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- grated cheese optional - 2 c
- squash, cooked and mashed - 1 lb
- pinch of salt, pepper and sugar - 1 item
How to make baked squash:
Cook onion, celery and green pepper until tender. Mix all ingredients (except cheese) and pour into casserole dish. Bake at 400° until firm and slightly brown. Top with cheese and cover with lid to melt cheese.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Vegetables.
