Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/4 c
- chicken broth
- minced parsley - 1/4 c
- chopped green onion - 1/4 c
- sunflower seeds - 1/2 c
- rice - 1 c
- golden raisins - 1 c
- wild rice optional
How to make baked rice:
Preheat oven to 350°. Melt margarine in medium skillet over medium heat. Add onion and saute until slightly softened. Transfer to 2-quart baking dish. Stir in remaining ingredients, except seeds. Cover tightly and bake until broth has been absorbed, about 45 minutes. Using fork, mix in sunflower seeds. Makes 6 servings.Recipe from Bon Appetit.
