Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- can condensed beef bouillon - 1 item
- , chopped - 1 medium
- medium-size tomatoes, peeled and chopped - 2 item
How to make mexican rice:
Saute onion and garlic in vegetable oil until transparent. Add uncooked rice. Brown rice slightly, stirring constantly. Add tomatoes, chili powder, salt, bouillon and water. Cook until rice is done.Recipe categories: Side dish, Cheese, Rice.
