Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 pt
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 oz
- butter - 2 oz
- paprika - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- prepared mustard - 3/4 tsp
- Cheddar or Velveeta cheese - 6 oz
- chicken bouillon powder - 1 tsp
- diced potatoes, completely cooked - 6 c
How to make au gratin potatoes:
Put cooled potatoes in a bowl. Combine milk and flour in blender until smooth. Melt butter in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add milk and flour mixture, stirring constantly. Add rest except cheese, then over low heat add cheese and thicken. Put in lightly buttered casserole dish. Garnish with paprika.
