- sugar - 3 c
- cream cheese
- eggs - 7 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- Crisco
- black walnuts - 1 c
- box 4x sugar - 1 item
- Swans Down cake flour - 3 c
How to make black walnut pound cake:
Cream Cheese Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese1 stick margarine3 Tbsp. milk1 box 4x sugar Mix sugar and Crisco until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each. Add vanilla, salt, flour and milk. Beat until creamy. Add nuts and mix. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.Icing: Use Cream Cheese Frosting on cooled cake. Mix all frosting ingredients together until creamy.
