Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- orange juice concentrate - 1 Tbsp
- medium clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Sauce:3 Tbsp
- apricot preserves or orange marmalade - 1/4 c
- chicken pieces use as many needed for number of servings needed - 1 item
How to make apricot chicken:
Pat chicken dry and put into greased baking dish.Sauce:3 Tbsp. cornstarch1/2 c. soy sauce1/4 c. apricot preserves or orange marmalade2 Tbsp. sugar2 Tbsp. vinegar1 medium clove garlic, minced1/4 tsp. ginger1 Tbsp. orange juice concentrate Cook sauce ingredients, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add 1 can apricot halves to sauce. Pour over chicken. Bake, covered, 35 to 40 minutes at 350°. Remove cover and bake an additional 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Chicken breast.
