Applesauce raisin muffins
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/3 c
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- applesauce - 2/3 c
- large egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
How to make applesauce raisin muffins:
Streusel:1/4 c. brown sugar1/4 c. flour2 Tbsp. butter or margarine Preheat oven to 400°. Grease twelve 2 1/2-inch muffin cups.Make streusel by combining brown sugar and flour in a small bowl. With a fork, blend in butter until crumbly. Set aside.
Combine egg, applesauce, milk, oil, sugar and raisins in a medium size bowl. Combine dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Stir in applesauce mixture until blended. Spoon into prepared muffin tins. Sprinkle streusel on top of each. Bake 25 minutes. Cool in pans 5 minutes.
