Poppy seed orange muffins
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/3 c
- sugar - 1 c
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour
- grated orange peel - 2 Tbsp
- poppy seed - 1 Tbsp
- orange juice - 2 Tbsp
- each: salt and baking soda - 1/2 tsp
How to make poppy seed orange muffins:
Heat oven to 400°. Combine all ingredients at low speed until moistened (1 minute). Spoon batter into greased or paper-lined muffin tin. Bake 17 to 22 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 1 dozen.Lemon peel and juice can be substituted for orange.
