Zucchini lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 15 oz
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 1/4 lb
- cottage cheese - 8 oz
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1/3 c
- medium zucchini - 4 item
- sprinkle of sugar - 1 item
How to make zucchini lasagna:
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Add tomato sauce and spices. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Slice zucchini lengthwise in 1/4-inch slices. Mix cottage cheese and eggs.In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer half of the zucchini slices, 1 tablespoon flour and half of the cottage cheese mixture, meat and Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Bake 40 minutes in 375° oven. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
