Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • can tomato sauce - 15 oz
  • ground beef - 1/2 lb
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 1/4 lb
  • cottage cheese - 8 oz
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • basil - 1/4 tsp
  • onion, chopped - 1/3 c
  • medium zucchini - 4 item
  • sprinkle of sugar - 1 item

How to make zucchini lasagna:

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Add tomato sauce and spices. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Slice zucchini lengthwise in 1/4-inch slices. Mix cottage cheese and eggs.

In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer half of the zucchini slices, 1 tablespoon flour and half of the cottage cheese mixture, meat and Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Bake 40 minutes in 375° oven. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
