Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cottage cheese - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 16 oz
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- lasagna noodles, cooked and drained - 1 pkg
- large jar spaghetti sauce - 1 item
- ground Italian sausage - 1 lb
How to make lasagna:
Saute onion, garlic and meats. Drain grease and add sauce, parsley, salt, pepper, basil and oregano. Simmer 45 minutes. Mix all cheeses and egg. Sprinkle with parsley and oregano. In a large rectangular baking dish, place in layers sauce, lasagna and cheese mixture. Repeat layers ending with a layer of lasagna covered with sauce.
