Yellow squash casserole



  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • saltine crackers - 20 item
  • fresh yellow squash - 2 lb

How to make yellow squash casserole:

Cook squash; drain and mash. Add onion, 15 crackers, milk, cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Stir and put into casserole dish. Crush remaining crackers; sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
