Ingredients/Components
- warm water - 2 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- melted butter - 3/4 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 4 c
How to make yeast muffins:
Combine ingredients in order given, adding flour last. Batter can be made day before and will keep up to 3 days. Do not stir down. Add a little oil in each muffin tin and heat before dropping in batter. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes. Makes 24 muffins.Recipe categories: Breads, Yeast breads, Sourdough breads.
