Wild rice chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- curry powder - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 3/4
- white cooking wine - 1/3 c
- celery - 1/2 c
- cubed chicken - 2 c
How to make wild rice chicken casserole:
Prepare rice mix as directed. Meanwhile, cook onion and celery in butter until tender. Stir in soup, sour cream, wine and curry powder. Stir in chicken and cooked rice. Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish or a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch dish. Bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven 35 to 40 minutes. Stir before serving.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
