White fruit cake
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- sugar
- vanilla
- eggs - 4 item
- flour
- baking powder
- candied red cherries, cut in 1/2 - 1/2 c
- candied green cherries, cut in 1/2 - 1/2 c
- red pineapple - 1/2 c
- green or yellow pineapple - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
How to make white fruit cake:
Cream together margarine, sugar and cream cheese. Add vanilla and eggs; blend with electric beater. Add flour and baking powder; continue mixing.Now use a wooden spoon and mix in the candied fruit until well blended. Grease 2 bread loaf pans, 5 x 9-inch. Divide mixture in 2 pans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
