Coconut candy
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- water - 3/4 c
- shredded coconut
- dark corn syrup - 1 c
How to make coconut candy:
Combine all ingredients except coconut in a saucepan and stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook to 245° on a candy thermometer or firm ball stage. Remove from heat and add coconut. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on buttered cookie sheet. Shape into peaked mounds. Sweet and chewy.Recipe categories: Desserts, Candy, Coconut.
