Cranberry bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- fresh cranberries - 2 c
How to make cranberry bread:
Beat cream cheese, margarine, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Combine 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Add to mixture. Mix remaining 1/4 cup flour with cranberries and nuts. Fold into batter. Batter will be very thick. Spoon into 10-inch Bundt pan, greased. Bake at 350° for 65 to 70 minutes or until done. Let stand 5 minutes before removing from pan. Cool. Before serving dust with powdered sugar.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Quick breads.
