White bean and chicken chili
Ingredients/Components
- 5 oz
- cubed cooked chicken
- or 2 jalapeno chili peppers, halved, seeded and chopped - 1 item
- white pepper - 1/2 tsp
- dairy sour cream - 1/2 c
- chopped fresh cilantro - 1 Tbsp
- guacamole optional - 1/4 c
- chicken broth - 1 c
How to make white bean and chicken chili:
Measure 1 cup beans; place in medium saucepan. Mash slightly with fork. Add remaining beans, chicken, jalapeno, broth and pepper; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream and cilantro. (Top each serving with guacamole.)Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Chili.
