Potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- medium potatoes, cubed - 5 item
- large container sour cream - 1 item
- cans beef consomme soup - 2 item
- stalks celery and greens, chopped - 2 item
How to make potato soup:
Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan. Add celery and onion. Cook until tender and transparent. Add the consomme soup, beef bouillon cube, potatoes and parsley. Cook until potatoes are done. Let mixture cool. Remove a small amount of liquid. Mix with sour cream in a bowl until smooth, then add to soup mixture.
