Ingredients/Components

  • stick butter, melted - 1 item
  • margarine - 2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • mayonnaise - 1 c
  • celery, chopped - 3/4 c
  • crackers, crushed - 2 pkg
  • small can water chestnuts, chopped - 1 item
  • 2 can Veg-All
  • 2 can LeSueur peas, drained

How to make vegetable casserole:

Saute onion and celery in margarine until tender. Mix all ingredients. Put in casserole dish. Top with crackers and melted butter. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown. (Do not overbake.)
