Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan - 1/4 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- sliced cheese - 8 oz
- bulk pork sausage or ground beef - 1 lb
- chopped green pepper or mushroom optional - 1/4 c
How to make upside-down pizza:
Heat oven to 425°. Cook and stir meat and onions in skillet until meat is brown and onions are tender. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, green pepper, 2 tablespoons flour, the basil and oregano. Heat to boiling. Boil and stir 1 minute. Pour into ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Arrange cheese on top. Beat eggs, milk, oil, 1 cup flour and salt until smooth. Pour over cheese. Bake until puffy and golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
