Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • vinegar
  • beaten eggs - 2 item
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1/2 lb
  • ground pork - 1/2 lb
  • ground ham - 1 lb
  • each: chopped onion, celery and green pepper - 2 Tbsp
  • finely crushed graham or soda crackers - 1 c

How to make meat balls:

Tangy Sauce:3 Tbsp. vinegar1 tsp. dry mustard1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce1 c. brown sugar Combine meats, eggs, crackers, seasonings, milk and vegetables. Shape into balls. Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour sauce over meatballs and bake for 1 hour at 350°.
