Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 15 oz
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt to taste - 1 item
- lean ground beef
- Mozzarella cheese, sliced - 8 oz
- Tabasco - 1/8 tsp
- envelope spaghetti sauce mix
How to make popover pizza casserole:
Popover Batter:1 c. milk2 eggs1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. Parmesan cheese1 Tbsp. oil1 c. flour Brown beef, onion and green pepper; drain. Stir in garlic salt, oregano, salt, water, Tabasco, tomato sauce and spaghetti mix. Simmer 10 minutes. Spoon into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with cheese slices.Beat eggs, milk and oil 1 minute at medium. Add flour and salt; beat 2 more minutes until smooth. Pour batter over meat filling. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until puffed and deep golden brown.
