Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • oleo, melted and cooled to room temperature - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • chopped walnuts - 1 c
  • 9-inch pie shell, unbaked
  • ice cream optional - 1 item
  • strawberries optional - 1 item

How to make toll house pie:

In large bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add flour and sugars; beat until well blended. Blend in melted butter. Stir in chips and nuts. Pour into pie shell.

Bake in preheated 325° oven for 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream and strawberries. Serves 6 to 8.
