Thyme-lime chicken
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- grated lime peel - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- fresh lime juice - 2 Tbsp
- chicken thighs - 4 item
- garlic powder to taste - 1 item
- chicken breasts, split - 4 item
- minced fresh thyme or 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
How to make thyme-lime chicken:
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter in olive oil and lime juice, thyme, lime peel, garlic, salt and pepper. Place chicken on a greased broiler pan. Brush with sauce. Broil, basting frequently. Have broiler pan 6 to 7 inches from the heat for 15 to 20 minutes on each side or until chicken juices seem clear.
