- clove garlic - 1 item
- liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
- brisket - 1 (6
- bottle soy sauce
- can beef consomme - 1 oz
How to make texas brisket:
Marinade:1 (5 oz.) bottle soy sauce1 (10 oz.) can beef consomme1 clove garlic1 Tbsp. liquid smoke1 Tbsp. vinegar Mix together all of the marinade ingredients and pour over the brisket. Marinate in refrigerator overnight, turning once. Cook in slow oven (300° to 375°) for 45 minutes per pound. Let set approximately 15 minutes prior to slicing.I mix the leavings from cooking the brisket with barbecue sauce and pour over the brisket.
