  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • buttermilk - 2 Tbsp
  • self-rising flour - 3 c
  • Crisco - 1 c

How to make tea cakes:

Mix all ingredients together and put in a tray of self-rising flour. Work in flour to make a soft dough. Place in refrigerator and let stand overnight. Roll out small balls the size of marbles. Then mash and bake at 325° until light brown. Remove
