Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Pour over mixture of flour and sugar
How to make chocolate cake:
Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil. Pour over mixture of flour and sugar. Mix well and then add eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and buttermilk. Pour into greased and floured oblong pan. Bake at 350° in preheated oven for 30 minutes.Icing:2 tsp. cocoa1 box powdered sugar1 stick margarine1/3 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla Mix cocoa and powdered sugar. Bring to a boil the margarine, milk and vanilla. Remove them from stove; add cocoa and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Pour and spread over hot cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
