Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- flaked coconut - 3/4 c
- margarine, softened
- pecans, chopped optional - 1/2 c
- cooked, mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:1/4 c. margarine, softened2/3 c. brown sugar1/2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)1/3 c. flour3/4 c. flaked coconut Combine the potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk. Pour into a 7 1/2 x 12 x 2-inch casserole dish. Mix the topping well and sprinkle over the casserole. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Casseroles.
